Counseling & Academic Advising Council
The Counseling & Academic Advising Council (CAAC) has a commitment to improving the counseling and academic advising process for current and potential students at Kapi‘olani Community College.
Student Success Campus Council (SSCC)

AGO Meetings with the Chancellor
Aside from their areas of primary responsibilities, the Kapi‘olani CC Chancellor seeks the advice of the four authorized organizations in decisions such as those concerning 3 general education policy, the development and implementation of organizational structure, program review, tactical plans, strategic and long-range plans, budgeting, and other areas
Civility Taskforce
A college campus, by definition, is a place of learning, of personal and professional growth, where ideas are debated and problems resolved. Where issues are confronted and truth is revealed. All of these interactions require us to communicate with one another and, in the context of a learning institution, to do so collegially.
Foundations Board Committee
The Foundations Board at Kapi’olani Community College (KCC) was created as an ad hoc committee of the Faculty Senate (FS) in April, 2004. The purpose of the board is to review courses and engage in discussions and planning for articulation in the newly created multi-lateral agreement between UH Manoa, Honolulu Community College, and KCC
Sustainability Committee
The Faculty Senate Sustainability Committee is responsible for advising and making recommendations to the KCC Faculty Senate and appropriate administrators regarding sustainability, especially in areas of curriculum and in issues pertaining to faculty concerns.
